Accessibility statement

Most of the people we serve are over seventy. A website they cannot read is not much help to anyone.

Compass Senior Transitions works to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical standard. We test with a keyboard, at enlarged text sizes, and on phones, because that is how families actually reach us.

What we commit to

  • Body text sized for older eyes, with generous line spacing and strong contrast
  • Every page reachable and usable with a keyboard alone
  • Buttons and links sized for hands that are not always steady
  • Descriptive text on images and clear labels on every form field
  • Headings in order, so screen readers can move through a page sensibly
  • Printable guides in PDF form for families who prefer paper

Where we may fall short

Some third party content, such as a community brochure or a partner scheduling tool, is outside our control. If any of it blocks you, tell us and we will read it to you, email it in another format, or handle the step for you over the phone.

Tell us and we will fix it

If a page is hard to read or use, call 303-919-1665 or email eric.breslin@compass.com. Please mention the page and what happened. We aim to respond within two business days, and there is never any need to apologize for asking.
